Thank you to England-Thims & Miller, Inc. - Tournament Sponsor
We are hoping that this event helps to highlight our new Gainesville Office. We have opened a Gainesville office with the sole intent of giving students a place to work on real projects, get real world experience, while getting their education. We call this office our ETM Accelerator. We plan to have about 8 students a semester working in the office and we will need to develop relationships with the Departments as well as with the student chapters in order to keep the office full each semester.

I am very excited to invite you to the University of Florida Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ first ever GOLF TOURNAMENT, scheduled for Friday, November 8th, 2019 at the Haile Plantation Golf Club in Gainesville.
My name is Nathan O’Donnell. I serve our chapter as past and current President. Planning a golf tournament has been in the works for a while now, but I feel like this is the year that it needs to happen. Through a golf scramble, we are able to offer something more than the usual. This event provides the opportunity to network and socialize with potential interns and employees, coworkers, clients, and friends. It will be a great day in the sun with prizes and food. Not to mention a football game the day after (not included in this offer).
Our chapter’s recent success is purely due to the hard work of our members and the support we receive from our sponsors. To continue our achievements into the next decade of UF ASCE, we need to step up. Winning conferences, doing more for the community of Gainesville and on campus, and having a closer connection to industry are all a part of our path to success and this event will allow us to do so. This golf tournament will provide an opportunity for us to have a closer connection. You can power students to GO GREATER, make an impact on the future of civil engineering, and continue to allow students to have limitless boundaries.
If you are unable to sponsor or participate this time around, please consider still contributing to the success of our chapter and our design teams, concrete canoe and steel bridge. All the perks of our sponsorship levels will still apply even if you cannot attend.
